MINNEAPOLIS, MN, August 29th – Verterra Energy, Inc. is pleased to announce that Sanjay Chandra has joined our Board of Directors. With their prior experience at Boeing Hydrokinetics, he brings tremendous expertise to Verterra as it begins to commercialize its MHP (modular hydro power) technology, Volturnus.

Sanjay is a professional engineer and has an extensive background in renewable energy on global scale. He co-founded an international solar energy company establishing a solar panel manufacturing unit and a services/installation units in two global locations. Later, Sanjay worked as an intrapreneur with the Energy Ventures Accelerator at The Boeing Company, where he led global strategy and business development for an innovative river hydrokinetics technology. As an M&A consultant at SunEdison, Sanjay supported business integration of acquired solar and wind assets.
